Broken Vessel Pottery owned by Kenny Gregory and Cathy Gregory is located in the Ingomar community. Ingomar is five miles south of New Albany, Mississippi and about nine miles north of Pontotoc, Mississippi. We are about twenty five miles west of Tupelo, Mississippi and about thirty miles east Oxford, Mississippi. As the map indicates we are about one mile off of MS Hwy 15 on county road 96. Our address is 1223 CR 96. For local people who know where the Ingomar School is located, we are just south of the Ingomar School by the railroad tracks.

Ingomar, MS is the home of the "Ingomar Mounds". These Mounds, built during the Middle Woodland Period, are one of the great secrets of Mississippi and can be seen from our studio. Growing up in this community I have always thought of the large "main" mound as interesting and some what mystifying. I can't imagine how much hard work it must have taken to build such a massive mound. It surprises me at how many local people  know of the mound but don't know exactly where it is located. If your in the area and haven't seen it, stop in and I'll point it out to you. This amazing and beautiful bit of our history is soon to be developed and is expected to attract thousands of tourists each year.
